Sources and notes

Moroccan law does not set a single list of mandatory “legal notice” items for a website, like the French LCEN does. This page follows good practice and the rules that do apply:
- Law no. 09-08 on personal data, art. 5: people must know who the data controller is before their data is collected.
- Dahir des obligations et contrats (DOC), art. 65-3 and 65-4 (added by law no. 53-05): a professional who offers services online must make the contract terms available in a form that can be kept and reproduced. - Law no. 114-13, art. 3: an auto-entrepreneur may use his home as the business address. Showing a home address publicly is a choice. A domiciliation address is an option. Article 6 of the French LCEN (law no. 2004-575) lists the publisher’s identity, the publication director and the host. It does not formally bind a publisher based in Morocco. This page still gives the same information, because many clients are in France. This is not a claim of compliance with French law.
