I · The congress
A medical congress in Iași
Congrès Médicis is a francophone congress of medicine and dentistry in Iași, Romania, for health students and young doctors. It is organised by AMSFI, the francophone medical students' association of Iași. Its second edition ran from 25 to 29 March 2026.
Five days of workshops, conferences and discussions, with abstracts to submit, buses from other cities, meals and certificates: all of it needed selling, booking and running.
II · What I made
The site, the tickets, and the back office
Designed and built in full, for the 2026 edition:
- The public site: the congress, its programme, its speakers, the packs and a press page.
- Ticketing, with card payments.
- A personal space for every participant.
- The dashboard for the organising teams.
III · The site
The congress, presented
The site presents the congress, the programme day by day and the speakers, with each speaker's profile one tap away. Its colours come from the congress's logo.
IV · Tickets
Four packs, counted seats, card payments
Buyers choose one of four packs. Each pack says what it includes, and its seats are counted by field of study, with a separate presale. An abstract and a bus seat can be added, and a promotion code applied, before paying by card on the payment provider's secure page.
When seats run short, unpaid orders are released sooner, so a seat isn't held by someone who never pays.
V · Participants
A space for every participant
Participants sign in with a code sent by email. They complete their profile, book the workshops and discussions their pack allows, see their days in a calendar, and download their receipt and, after the congress, their certificates.
VI · The organisers
Five teams, one dashboard
Five organising teams share one dashboard: orders, meals, activities, certificates and transport. Each sees what its role allows.
- Orders and refunds, including partial refunds of a pack, an abstract or a bus seat.
- Participants, activities and their capacity.
- Bus seats, each leg marked as boarded.
- Meals marked as served from a phone.
- Certificates uploaded, downloaded and, if needed, withdrawn.
- Any list exported.
VII · Inside

VIII · Where it stands
After the congress
The site and the app served the 2026 edition, and the site now looks back on it. I still maintain both: since the congress, the dashboard has been redesigned and the app made lighter to run.
